Hey cozy friends! I have a fun challenge for you. Life can feel so overwhelming at times, but I’ve discovered that little, intentional acts of self-care can make even the busiest weeks feel a bit cozier.

That’s why I’m bringing you The Cozy Challenge—a simple, week-long guide to bringing calm, joy, and comfort into your everyday life.

Each day has a small task, and trust me, they’re easy, fun, and totally doable. Let’s dive in!

Day 1: Create a Morning Ritual ☀️

Start your week with a moment of calm. Instead of jumping straight into emails, chores, or your endless to-do list, take the first few minutes of your day for yourself.

Brew your coffee or tea slowly, journal about how you want your day to feel, or even just stretch in the sunlight by a window. A peaceful morning doesn’t have to take long—it’s about starting intentionally.

When you give yourself this time, you set the tone for a day that feels less rushed and more balanced.

Day 2: Unplug for an Hour 📵

Screens are everywhere—our phones, TVs, and computers demand our attention constantly. Today, challenge yourself to step away for just one hour.

Now, I have always called myself a Certified Walk Hater™. But lately, the more I fit in a walk or two each week, I realize there’s something incredibly soothing about it, especially when you do it with intention. Bundle up in your coziest jacket, grab your headphones, grab a fun little on-the-go drink, and take a stroll—whether it’s around the block or through a park.

Notice the colors of the trees, the sound of your footsteps, or my personal favorite - be the nosy neighbor checking out the curb appeal of every house in the neighborhood. Walking isn’t just great for your body; it’s also an amazing way to clear your head. Think of it as moving meditation, where each step grounds you in the present moment.

Day 5: Create a Cozy Space 🕯️

We all have that one corner of our home that could use a little love. Today, take a few minutes to tidy, rearrange, or add something cozy to a spot you spend time in—a soft blanket, a candle, or even just decluttering can work wonders.

By creating a small space dedicated to comfort, you’re giving yourself permission to rest there whenever you need to. It’s a reminder that coziness isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice you can create with small, intentional actions.

Day 6: Reflect & Journal ✍️

Grab your favorite journal, a pen, and find a quiet spot. Reflect on your week—what made you smile? What brought you peace? Write down a few moments of gratitude or even things you want to improve next week.

Journaling doesn’t have to be perfect or pretty; it’s about giving yourself space to process your thoughts. This small habit can help you feel grounded and remind you of the good, even in challenging times.

Day 7: Indulge in a Spa Moment 🧖‍♀️

End your week with a little self-care luxury. It could be a face mask, a warm bath, or even taking extra time with your skincare routine.

I love to light a candle, play soft music, and let the world fade away for a while. These small acts of care send a powerful message to yourself: you deserve rest, comfort, and kindness. Make it a moment you can look forward to all week long.
